Deborah lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The wondrous New Mexico light and southwest setting provide the inspiration and opportunity to capture the images she loves in the western setting that is her heritage. Flowers, landscapes, wildlife, horses, ranches and farmlands inspire the images captured in oils.

I love watching the pollinators visiting my garden. They are so busy and colorful, flying from flower to flower. I see bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
It is a sight to behold when the cactus and yucca plants start to bloom. The cactus flowers come in various colors, from yellow to pink to red, and they contrast with the green spines and the blue sky.

The Covid-19 pandemic lockdown is providing more than ample time to set an agenda for studying my new Fuji camera equipment.
A Fujifilm X-T3 and a selection of Fujinon lenses are the exciting addition to my photography arsenal. Lilies, including Asiatic and Oriental varieties, are high-reward, low-effort perennials.
